Course Title: Getting Creative for the 21st Century
Course Description: This course develops the technological skills students need to be successful in the 21st Century. Students will use the award-winning MISD created 21 Things 4 Students as a foundation to learn and demonstrate technology skills using a variety of web tools, instructional videos, and online activities to create a digital portfolio of project based learning activities with an integration of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Fine Arts.
Essential Skills: We will be covering Career Preparation, Buyer Beware, Digital Storytelling, Creative Communications, Powerful Presentations, Mobile Computing and Coding and Game Design.

Course Materials: Students will need to bring EVERY DAY to class
- A flash drive of at least 2GB
- Headphones or ear buds
- Beer Agenda
- Pencil
- Username/Passwords
- Respect lab equipment and computer lab users. Your computer is your computer! That means that the computers in the computer lab are the property of Warren Consolidated Schools, wallpaper and screensavers ARE NOT TO BE CHANGED on the computers.
- Follow Directions
- Stay in your seat
- Do not speak when someone else is speaking.
- No food, gum, or drinks will be allowed in the lab at any time
- Designated websites are to be used at designated times; no other websites are to be used during class time.
- Do not change out mice or keyboards.
- Verbal reminder
- Verbal warning
- Moved to another computer
- Loss of lab privilege for the day
- Parent Notification
- Detention
- Referral to Counselor
- Referral to Assistant Principal/Principal
*Deliberate and/or malicious treatment of the computer lab equipment is a serious violation of the rules and is completely unacceptable.
